Greetings from Hong Kong!

Just got off the plane not long ago….ugh…13+ hours of hell for me.  I have massive motion sickness, so I got dominated on the plane.  Threw up twice. ugh.

Anyways, I’ve been traveling quite a bit the past couple of years (mostly to Asia), and I’ve finally came up with some “must haves” or necessities to survive the dreaded 13+ hours flight.  Here’s what I have in my bag.

1. BagLimited Edition Timbuk2 Reflective Racing Stripe Messenger in gunmetal

Possibly the best travel bag in the world.  It has great compartments for all my laptop accessories, beauty products, my DSLR, my laptop and so much more.

2. Camera & Camera BagNikon D40 & Crumpler 4 Million Dollar Home

I definitely miss traveling with a point-and-shoot camera, but hey, I shouldn’t be complaining since it’s a DSLR.  The Crumpler 4 Million Dollar Home is the perfect case for my camera (I highly recommend Crumpler bags, bags come in all different sizes).  It allows me to pull my camera in and out super quick and with ease.

3. NetbookHP Mini 110

Perfect netbook for bloggers on the go.  Super small and light.

4. International CellphoneLG Ice Cream Cellphone

Must have if you have a locked cellphone.  I bought the LG Ice Cream a while back hoping to use it in the US, but I ended up with horrible reception.  Found out later that phones from Asia run on a different frequency, hence the reception problem. But it’s not the perfect phone for me in Asia.

5. MP3 Player &  CameraApple iPhone

For those long MTR rides and quick pictures (when I’m too lazy to carry my DSLR).

6. Thick Socks

It’s freezing on the plane.  Got these socks from my boss while I was in Chicago doing a tradeshow.  The softest and warmest socks ever!

7. Flipflops – from Target

To slip in and out of on the plane.

8. Facial Mask – Neutrogena Fine Fairness and Olay White Essence Mask

The air quality on the plane is horrible.  My face tends to dry up real quick and with lack of sleep,  it’s sometimes necessary to do a mask on the plane.

Hello, I don’t agree with everything in this write-up, but you do make some very good points. I’m very interested in this matter and I myself do alot of research as well. Either way it was a well thoughtout and nice read so I figured I would leave you a comment.

I would appreciate more visual materials, to make your blog more attractive, but your writing style really compensates it. But there is always place for improvement
